A great birthday week!

My birthday was Wednesday (July 24th)
And what a wonderful week of activities ! Over last weekend I saw a great performance by old timey musician Pokey LaFarge a wonderful visit to Mass MOCA (see the photo of the wonderful Phoenix built out of garbage) and a great play at the Williamstown Theater Festival.

Back home I made a great breakthrough with my painting ( check out the bubblegum pink Venice). On my actual bday I went on an amazing adventure, bike riding on the Farmington valley rail trail from Farmington, CT (in the middle of the state) 22.5 miles to the Massachusetts border and back (45 miles all told)

I also had a great day in Mystic, CT yesterday. A fantastic afternoon around the historic town center and then a visit to the fishes at the aquarium.
