Day? 18-the lost days

too much champagne soup? (a really fantastic cocktail with champagne, lemon, simple syrup and contreau) no I've just been working like a fiend on a massive 3 part painting of the nearby country side. and a bunch more drawing. 

yesterday was the summer solstice and 5 of us residents devised a pact- wake up at sunrise 5:43am and work until sunset 9:51am- it was fantastic, I got so much work done (unlike today so far....)

and on friday i visited the city of Troyes, ancient timber house and beautiful churches and cathedrals (including 1 visited by Joan of Arc and 1 that was the site of a royal wedding between Henry V and Catherine of Spain)
