Naples, Italy

Why does everyone try to scare you about Naples? The drivers are like maniacs, the garbage is a problem, you WILL get pickpocketed or scammed in some way, blah, blah, blah.

I really like Naples. Parts of it were really beautiful. The people were super nice, and honestly the food was more delicious and cheaper than the other places I visited in southern Italy.

While in the greater Naples area I also visited Pompeii and wow. Its hard not to be impressed by all the Romans had accomplished, the technology was unbelievable.
