The Evolution of my new Sicily Painting

Last January I went on vacation in Sicily, making Siracusa my home base for a week. I took many wonderful walks around the beautiful little island of Ortygia, which was founded by the Greeks and was described by Cicero as "the greatest Greek city and the most beautiful of them all." I particularly loved this square which became a photo, a drawing and now a painting.
