Ferns

This started with a gardening project - I tried to make a shade garden along my patio without buying any new plants at the store... mostly I rounded up ferns growing in random spots in the yard. There were over 60 in total that I replanted- lady fern, ostrich fern, japanese painted fern, sensitive fern, etc. This extended time with the plants (along with other weeds in the yard) was the inspiration for this painting.

The painting is 48" wide and 60" high painted with acrylic paint on raw unstretched canvas. The painting will be shipped rolled in a tube. It is currently available and for sale on Artfinder.
