For my first post pandemic vacation and flight we were off to Chicago. Maybe not the first thought people have but after a year and a half of isolation it was good to visit a bustling city and get some great food!

We did some general sight seeing, the river walk, Millennium Park, Michigan Ave and the Art Institute of Chicago.

Visited Wrigley Field and saw a baseball game, Cubs vs Padres, the home team won!

Took the architecture boat tour, what a highlight!

After I returned home to Connecticut, the boat tour inspired some new paintings!
